WASCF Information Sheet for Super Sedan Championship – Perth Motorplex
All drivers please note the following:

  • All Heats are Ten Laps
  • All Four Scores count
  • Top 16 Cars Automatically Qualify for the Final
  • Positions for the Final are finalised by points with highest pointscorer to start from pole position.
  • First Four Cars in B Main (12 laps) will fill positions 17-20
  • Final to be conducted over 25 Laps
  • There will be no reserves

Roof Numbers:

  • All competitors must have a roof number
  • It must be the right dimension, 30cm Square as per rule 3.6 (b)
  • The roof number shall be of black background with white numbers as per rule 3.6 (d).  No other colours, dimensions or variations will be accepted.

Roof Number Alterations:

  • Due to drivers having the same number, or numbers which do not fall under rule 3.6 (a-d).

Scrutineering  -  Friday & Saturday 23/24 November 2007
Address: Perth Motorplex, Ankatell Road, Kwinana Beach

  • Scrutineering will commence at 2.30pm and will conclude at 4.30pm.  There is no allocated time for you as in previous years, though you must be scrutineered prior to 4.30pm
  • Should you be running late, please call the Title Co-Ordinator, Jason Crowe on 0428211484.  Failure to notify will result in a fine $100.
  • Scrutineering Panel – Des Alfirevich (WASCF Technical Chairman), Ian Beard (WASCF Technical Committee) plus officials from Perth Motorplex.  Persons other than those associated with the cars being scrutineered at the time will not be permitted into the work area.
  • All drivers are asked to obey directions by officials.
  • All drivers asked to have Scrutineering completed by 4.30pm.
  • WASCF Inc and the Perth Motorplex reserves the right to impound race cars (number at discretion of officials) at the conclusion of the race meeting
  • You will be required to present to Scrutineering the following:
    • Your Car
    • Your Race Suit, underwear, boots, socks, gloves, helmet, neck brace
    • Your Log Book and Drivers License
    • Your Insurance Card
    • Your Rule Book and Specification Book  (If you don’t have these they can be purchased on the day @ $20 & $12 each respectively)
    • Some tools, in case Scrutineers request to remove something from your car, while completing their checks.

Re checks:

Re Checks will be conducted at the Scrutineering Bay from 2.30pm – 4.30pm. at the Speedway complex. 

Grid Draws:
These will be found in the Speedway Magazine.  A paper version will also be given to you on Friday, at the completion of Scrutineering

Practice:
Practice will be conducted from 6.00pm until 9.00pm on Wednesday 21 November 2007.

Drivers Meeting:
Meeting to commence at 4.45pm.  Drivers and One Crew member to attend.  Will be held at the Scrutineering Area of the Pits

First Race:
            The first race will be at 6.00pm on Friday 23 November 2007
            The first race will be at 5.30pm on Saturday 24 November 2007

Support Events:

  1. Friday – Junior Sedans, Production Sedans, Street Stock, Modified Production, V8 Dirt Modifieds, AMCA Nationals, 360 Sprintcars, Solos, Super Modifieds.
  2. Saturday – Late Models, Street Stock, Modified Productions and Sprintcars

Officials

  1. WASCF Inc Representative – Jason Crowe (State Secretary)
  2. All other officials will be those of the Perth Motorplex.

Please note all officials have been trained in the new Australian Racing Rules and Regulations Book 2007.
