SSRC Young Gun Kodee Brown was crowned Super Sedan Champion at the 2009/2010 Perth Motorplex Speedway Track Championships Awards Night held at Ridleys Motor Museum in front of nearly 300 Speedway faithful….. being credited with 5 heat wins; 4  2nds; 3  3rds and 3  overall Feature wins for the season. 
Kodee unable to attend due to business commitments was represented by his Pit Crew at the presentation event and Troy Brook accepted the honour on Kodee’s behalf thanking all concerned for putting on a great team effort.  Only nine points separated Kodee from runner up Gary “Dusty” Higgs followed by son Dustin Higgs in 3rd place. Gary said it had been a fantastic season and added that the highlight was being able to race head to head with his son Dustin.  Gavin Migro said he had been very impressed with young Dustin’s efforts racing open wheelers at a recent corporate day and the young man had a very bright future in the sport indeed and to “watch this space”.

Kodee also joined WA Super Sedan State Champion Marc Giancola as finalist nominees for the Perth Motorplex Speedway Racer of the Year award …the honour going to a very humbled but deserving Neville Lance of Speedcars.
